2025 WOF ASEAN Int'l Optics Fair Kicks Off in Bangkok
On October 9, 2025, the WOF ASEAN Int'l Optics Fair (WOF | Bangkok) grandly kicked off at the IMPACT Exhibition Center in Bangkok, Thailand. Hosted by Donnor Exhibition and Broad Exhibition, and supported by the Asian Optometric Management Academy (AOMA) for international academic resources, the fair support by Singapore Eye Valley, the Korea Optical Industry-Cooperative(KOIC), the Optometry Association of Thailand, and the China Chamber of International Commerce Wenzhou Chamber(CCOIC). As a key milestone in WOF’s internationalization strategy, this year’s fair brings together industry forces from around the world to jointly open a new chapter for the ASEAN optical market.
Gather Global Resources to Build a Core Platform in ASEAN
With an exhibition area of over 10,000 square meters, this fair is the largest-scale and the only professional optical exhibition in 2025 in the ASEAN region. It has attracted 230 high-quality exhibitors, who gather to make their debut with over 100 brands covering the entire spectrum of optical-related products—including sun glasses, optical frames, children's eyewear, lenses, contact lenses, eye health services, and equipment & instruments. It is expected that over 5,000 professional visitors from more than 30 countries and regions such as Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, and Australia will attend the fair, including core procurement groups such as regional agents, distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail terminals.
Brand Matrix Makes Its Debut with Distinctive Exhibition Zones
The 2025 WOF ASEAN Int'l Optics Fair has set up an International Brand Zone and an Asian Original Designer Zone. Through a diversified exhibition zone layout, it fully presents the landscape of the global optical industry.
International Brand Zone: It focuses on displaying world-renowned brands, forming a pattern where "international giants + emerging forces" appear on the same stage, helping exhibitors quickly enhance their regional popularity and influence.
Asian Original Designer Zone: It focuses on emerging design forces in Asia, displaying differentiated products and creative designs to meet the procurement needs of channel partners for personalized, original, and high-value-added products.
Lens Zone: The Lens Zone gathers a number of high-quality lens manufacturers, covering product series such as single-vision lenses, progressive lenses, blue-light-blocking lenses, and functional lenses. It presents the latest achievements of lenses in visual health and material innovation, demonstrates their key role in consumption upgrading and industrial chain extension, and brings more forward-looking products and application ideas to the industry.
AI Smart Eyewear Make an Appearance, Witnessing the Integration of Intelligent Technology
At the fair site, a number of smart eyewear enterprises collectively displayed cutting-edge products, among which AI eyewear represented by Rokid became the focus of the entire fair. Visitors could personally experience the immersive interaction and intelligent applications brought by AI eyewear, and intuitively feel the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence and the optical industry. This collective appearance not only demonstrates the cutting-edge trends of smart wearables but also provides new ideas for the global optical industry to explore the future development direction of "AI + Eyewear". Innovative brands such as Rokid continue to expand the application boundaries of "AI + Display", enabling technological innovation to empower industry upgrading and gradually bringing smart wearables into daily life.
Concurrent Activities Focus on Cutting-Edge Trends to Promote In-Depth Industry Exchange
During the fair, a series of activities will be held, including the Asia-Pacific Eye Health Summit - Thailand Station, the Optometry Association of Thailand Seminar, the Asia-Pacific Optometry Summit by AOMA, and the Thailand Study Tour. These activities promote cross-border exchanges between academic exchanges, consumption trends, and business models, provide multi-dimensional exchange opportunities in academia, business, and industrial ecology for exhibitors and purchasers, and at the same time help grasp the latest consumption trends and industrial trends, serving as an important platform for the regional market to connect with global resources and enhance industrial competitiveness.
Accurate Matching Negotiations to Facilitate Efficient Brand Conversion
Over 120 trade matching meeting will be held at the 6C032 Hall 6, covering purchasers from multiple markets such as ASEAN, South Asia, and Oceania. Relying on the pre-fair professional buyer cluster and accurate invitation mechanism, the matching sessions realize "pre-fair pre-matching and on-site one-on-one negotiations", helping enterprises quickly screen purchasers with channel resources, market experience, and willingness to cooperate, shortening the conversion cycle from "participating in the fair" to "signing contracts", reducing market development costs, and realizing closed-loop empowerment from "booth" to "channel".
Looking to the Future, Connecting Global Business Opportunities
As a key layout of WOF in the ASEAN region, the 2025 WOF ASEAN Int'l Optics Fair takes "accurately connecting ASEAN business opportunities" as its goal, and builds a full-chain model of "exhibition and trade platform + accurate matching + ecological empowerment", providing systematic support for global brands from market exposure, channel expansion to cooperation implementation.
In the future, WOF | Bangkok will continue to play the role of an international platform, helping more enterprises achieve multi-level regional market expansion in OEM, ODM, and OBM, and jointly promoting the innovative development and prosperous upgrading of the global optometry industry.
