On the afternoon of September 20th, the Press Conference of 2022 China (Wenzhou) International Smart Electric & RCEP Electric Power & Electrician Exhibition And Launching Ceremony of Zhejiang Brand Electrical Industry (RCEP Special Session) Online Exhibition, sponsored by China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, China Electric Power Construction Association, RCEP Industry Cooperation Committee, CCPIT Wenzhou, Yueqing Municipal People's Government, and Zhejiang Electric Trade Association, organized by Yueqing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, CCPIT Yueqing, Wenzhou Electric Appliance Trade Association, Yue Qing Shi Shu Pei Dian Profession Association, Organizing Committee of China (Wenzhou) International Smart Electric & RCEP Electric Power & Electrician Exhibition, and Wenzhou Donnor Exhibition Co., Ltd., successfully held in Liushi, Yueqing, the China’s Electric Capital. The event also gained great support from RCEP Electrical Industry Cooperation Committee, Yueqing Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Federation, Wenzhou Electric Appliance Trade Association, Wanzhou Chamber of Commerce in Wenzhou, Yu Shang Chamber of Commerce and Yue Shang Park.

Su Lisheng, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of CCPIT Wenzhou, Song Jinli, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of CCPIT Wenzhou, and Zhuo Sailong, Deputy Mayor of Yueqing Municipal People's Government attended the event. Xu Ningning, Executive Chairman of the China-ASEAN Business Council and Chairman of the RCEP Industry Cooperation Committee, Guo Kuilong, Secretary General of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, and Bai Wenbo, Secretary General of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, attended the event via video. Zhuo Sailong, Deputy Mayor of Yueqing Municipal People's Government, said in his speech: Yueqing is a famous electrical industry town in China and even the world. Yueqing Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government have been committed to building a trillion-level intelligent electrical industry cluster as the goal, adhering to the important guiding policy of "leading by science and technology, driven by innovation", constantly deepening industrial supporting policies in combination with the industry situation, doing a good job in strengthening the weak links of the industrial chain, and promoting the coordinated development of the industrial chain. This online exhibition and China (Wenzhou) International Smart Electric & RCEP Electric Power & Electrician Exhibition, which will be held in November, are good opportunities for Yueqing’s electrical enterprises to seek new opportunities under the new situation of RCEP, and they also provide a good platform for Yueqing’s enterprises to exhibit their products, which helps inject more power into the prosperity and development of the electrical industry.

Xu Ningning, Executive Chairman of the China-ASEAN Business Council and Chairman of the RCEP Industry Cooperation Committee, expressed his appreciation and support for the event. He suggested: 1. Strengthen the publicity and interpretation of the contents of the RCEP agreement, so that all parties concerned can have a deep understanding of the contents of the RCEP agreement, make efficient use of relevant rules, and improve the level of participation in regional opening and cooperation; 2. Use institutional innovation to help enterprises build a high-quality and efficient RCEP trade supply chain, promote new fields such as smart electricity to go global, and optimize enterprise investment structure and regional industrial structure; 3. Enterprises shall implement free trade agreements and FTA business strategies, make good use of multilateral and bilateral free trade agreements, including RCEP, China-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement, China-Cambodia Free Trade Agreement, and achieve new trade and investment development of electric industry and enterprise.

Guo Kuilong, Secretary General of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, said that the effective implementation of RCEP has brought benefits to foreign trade enterprises in China's electrical industry and is driving more electrical products in China to go global. This event and the exhibition are deeply integrated with both offline and online platforms to help electrical foreign trade enterprises actively respond to the difficulties and challenges of the epidemic, and accelerate the development of the international market. It is hoped that relevant enterprises can seize this opportunity and get more business opportunities. China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products will also use international channels and platforms to provide more powerful support for electrical enterprises

Bai Wenbo, Secretary General of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, said that China is currently building a new development pattern with domestic circulation as the main body, and mutual promotion of the domestic and international double circulations. Holding this event has built an international exchange and cooperation platform for China's electrical products to go global, strengthen the vertical division of labor and cooperation with RCEP countries in the industrial chain, and improve the added value of the electrical industry and the integration ability of the industrial chain.

Huang Zhongping, secretary-general of Zhejiang Electric Trade Association, said that Yueqing is the main position of Wenzhou's characteristic advantageous industry - the electrical industry, and is currently in the critical period of building a "world-class intelligent electrical industry cluster". The new opportunities of RCEP will promote Wenzhou's electrical enterprises to enhance their abilities of independent innovation and market development, and jointly help the high-quality development of the industry. The Association will also play an active role in showing Wenzhou’s smart electrical industry to the RCEP region and even the world through the high-quality and international window of China (Wenzhou) International Smart Electric & RCEP Electric Power & Electrician Exhibition, and make more and greater contributions to the regional economic and social development!

During the activity, the project leader of the exhibition from Wenzhou Donnor Exhibition Co., Ltd., introduced the exhibition. And the organizing committee held a signing ceremony for strategic cooperation with Wenzhou Electric Appliance Trade Association, Yu Shang Chamber of Commerce, and Zhejiang Tianmei Culture Communication Co., Ltd. 

During the sector of "Big Brother Dialogue", Huang Zhongping, Secretary General of Zhejiang Electric Trade Association, Chen Kai, Vice President of People Electric Appliance Group Co., Ltd., Vice President of Zhejiang Tengen Electric Co., Ltd., Shi Leijie, Vice President of Zhejiang Electric Trade Association, Chen Jie, Vice President of Gacia Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. and other experts shared their opinion and made suggestions for Wenzhou's electrical enterprises to seize the business opportunities under the new situation.

According to the sponsor, more than 50 electrical enterprises in Wenzhou will have online meetings with nearly 60 overseas buyers from RCEP countries during the online exhibition. In addition, the 2022 China (Wenzhou) International Smart Electric & RCEP Electric Power & Electrician Exhibition will be held at Wenzhou Olympic Sports Convention and Exhibition Center from November 4 to 6.
