Wenzhou Convention & Exhibition Industries Association Held a Symposium
In order to implement the decision and deployment of the central committee of the communist of China (CPC) and the State Council, to comprehensively promote epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, and do a good job in "fighting epidemic, stabilizing the economy, creating civilization and ensuring safety", the association organized the heads of exhibition companies to hold a special symposium on how to resume exhibition company in the event of the change of the functions of the Wenzhou Int’l convention and exhibition center on the afternoon of May 31.
The symposium was held in the conference room of the Donnor Exhibition in the New Century Business Building. Pan Wei, President of the association, Li Yan, Secretary-General, Ying Jun, General Manager of Wenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center Co., Ltd., and Lei Ziming, Deputy Director of Wenzhou Radio and Television Group Broadcasting Center, Zhang Xiong, Director of the Brand Business Department of Wenzhou Metropolis Daily, Li Fan, General Manager of Wenzhou Ruibai Exhibition Co., Ltd., Chen Zhenda, Deputy Manager of Wenzhou Ruibai Exhibition Co., Ltd., Dai Jianbi, Chairman of Wenzhou Jinying Co., Ltd., and Shi Xianwei, General Manager of Wenzhou Donnor Exhibition Co., Ltd., participated in the seminar.
Chairman Pan Wei introduced the situation of the national exhibition. The current epidemic situation has stabilized, the clarion call for resumption of work and production is sounding, and the exhibition industry has also ushered in the good news! On May 28, the "Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show" was successfully opened in Shenzhen, which became the "first ice-breaking exhibition". Local governments are also easing restrictions on exhibitions, and exhibitions have been held one after another. The exhibition industry will usher in a long-lost grand occasion!
At present, the biggest dilemma Wenzhou’s exhibition industry faces is that even if the epidemic situation is stable and the exhibition can be held, the only exhibition and convention center is still used as a shelter, so there’s no venue for the exhibition.
Ying Jun, General Manager of Wenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center Co., Ltd., introduced the possibility and assumption of building a temporary exhibition venue in the Oujiangkou District.
The participants expressed their deep appreciation for the efforts made by the Wenzhou Convention and Exhibition Center to solve the problem of temporary exhibition halls, discussed the advantages and disadvantages of several proposed temporary exhibition halls at present, and believed that enterprises in the industry need self-help, and exhibitions should be done if possible.
