  • The history of the Fair?
  • The China (Guangzhou) International Footwear Expo (CantonSF) originated in Wenzhou city on 2001. Up to now, the CantonSF has successfully ran for 12 seasons, and is recognized as the most professional shoe fair in China. During those eight years, the fair has attracted all together 3,800 exhibitors (mainly from some Chinese main shoe producing bases, say Guangdong, Zhejiang, Fujian) and more than 100,000 visitors (mainly from the Asia, America, Europe, and Oceania). By the year of 2008, more than 1,400 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors joined the spring and autumn seasons. Last season the CantonSF advanced to its new hall-Poly World Trade Centre, which is only ten minutes walk away from the world renowned Canton Fair (the world's 3rd largest fair). Since visitors come over from the Canton Fair are welcomed to the CantonSF shoe fair free of charge, more deals have been settled down between exhibitors and buyers.

     I. China is to become the largest Shoe Consuming Market
    According to international statistics, China has surpassed United States to become the top 1 shoe consuming market with an annual demand of 23 billion pairs, and this number is expected to keep rising with the sustained growth of China's economy. It is estimated that, up to the year of 2012, the annual shoe purchase for each Chinese people is 2.3 pairs, which means an increase of 8 billion pairs in the total consuming volume each year.
    II. China is to become the top luxury market
    With growth of per-capita income and the deepening of urbanization, China will anticipate steep growth in the middle class. By around 2011 the middle class will number some 290 million people with a total spending power of 4.8 trillion RMB. It is predicted that within a decade, China is predicted to leapfrog Japan and the U.S. to become the top luxury market.

  • How to register online to the fair as visitor?
  • In order to save your time and energy, the organizer suggests you to pre-register online before 15th April. Please fill in the registration form correctly to get a Visitor Registration ID at our web: http://www.donnor.com/cantonsf/register.htm, then you can exchange the visitor badge and enjoy fast admission by showing the Visitor Registration Confirmation Receipt which will be sent to you after your registration in three working-day. If more than one delegate of your company wants to attend our fair, please pre-register respectively to enjoy following privileges:
